Following our inspection in May 2023, La Houguette School is proud to be rated 'Good' across all five key categories, including the quality of education, leadership, and early years provision. Inspectors described our school as a "safe, caring and inclusive" environment where children are at the centre of everything we do, guided by our core values of respect, kindness, and honesty. The report highlights the high expectations leaders have for all pupils, our effective prioritisation of reading and phonics, and the "extensive range of opportunities" provided to nurture pupils as individuals. While celebrating our pupils' exemplary behaviour and the overwhelming support from our parent community, we are already working to further refine our curriculum and assessment processes in specific subjects to ensure every child consistently secures the essential knowledge intended by our leaders.
